A progression based, classic style eqemu server with customised game mechanics.

Progression based

After you choose a race and class, you begin in your starting city, with access to classic zones, plus kunark. There are no artificial quest hubs. It is up to you to decide where you would like to adventure as you make your way firstly through Classic, then Kunark, and further expansions up to the Planes of Power.

Classic 1-50

Enjoy hacking and blasting your way through the original everquest zones, from the Karanas to the depths of Guk, and on to the planes of fear and hate. Your level is capped at level 50, until you defeat the classic raid mobs - Lady Vox, Lord Nagafen, Innoruuk, and Cazic Thule. Only then can you progress to level 60, and hope to pit yourself against the most powerful denizens of Kunark

Kunark 51-60

Once you have defeated the classic raid mobs, you will be able to level up to level 60, and make headway in Kunark. The plane of sky will also be open to you, where you can challenge yourself against raid targets of ever increasing difficulty. Once again you will need to defeat the most powerful of enemies Kunark has to offer, before unlocking Velious.

Velious 61-70 (In development)

Once you have defeated the Kunark raid mobs, you will be able to explore Velious and level up to level 70. With an enourmous amount of quests and raid content, Velious will offer a challenges to suit every player.

Luclin 71-80 (Planned)

Once you have defeated the Velious raid mobs, you will be able to explore Luclin and level up to level 80. With an enourmous amount of quests and raid content, Luclin will offer a challenges to suit every player.

Planes of Power 81-90 (Planned)

Choose up to three characters

Each class has been reworked in one way or another, to ensure that they bring enough to the table to compete for a place in a trio. Use the menus above to read about the significant changes that have been made to each of the classes.

Content

Enemies and items are tuned for solo play or small groups. You can play up to three characters at the same time. You can also choose to play a single character, if you prefer. Raid content is tuned for three characters, and each class has been reworked to make them able to function as a strong member of a trio.

Stats

Stats play a significant and important role in specialising your character. You will have to make decisions about which stats to prioritise in order to make your character as effective in their role as possible. You can read more about the way stats affect game mechanics here.

Melee Combat

Melee combat has been reworked to be more engaging, without taking away from the original EQ experience. Stats play a much more significant role in determining your offensive and defensive capabilities, and sacrificing offense for the sake of defense will really change the role a melee character plays in a trio. Even a bard can tank raid mobs with the right alignment of gear.

Magic

Spell casting has also been reworked. Specialisations and Casting skills impact your spells significantly, as do stats like intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.

The resistance system has been rewritten from the ground up. Resistances are heavily dependent on your stats, and the stats of your target, and the stats differ depending on the type of spell being cast. Partial resists are more common, including for spells with a duration, and even the strongest enemies are not completely immune to spells.
