Well Over Due.

So the year started slow for us with lack of numbers, the wrong mix of people and what seemed like an inability to kill stuff we had easily killed in the past. We took a 6 week break and put raiding off until after Easter. During that time, interest was renewed, key classes were found and a desire to make stuff dead was greater than ever.

So our first raid back, we went back to our mate, Aran, who up until today had only gone down the one time and was starting to become like the thorn in our side. All that said, revenge was sweet so with time left we headed back down to say hi to Illhoof.

The result was an 8% wipe followed up with a flawless guild first.

Illhoof Down.

With high spirits after an Illhoof win in the previous week, we headed back into Kara. This week we took a early start during the week and bought ourselves some more time.

So up we headed to the Prince, lets just say that the, “safe spots” are gone and after trying every “old” trick from people that had seen the encounter before, we stepped up and did it our way.

Adding the Prince to our list of Guild firsts.

Prince Down.

So with Prince dead and another week of early raids, we headed up the tower again, this time intent on bagging ourselves a Dragon. After 1 quick “learning” encounter the Crew stepped up and added Netherspite to our Guild First List. Making it 3 new targets in 3 weeks back to raiding.

Netherspite Down.

So week 4 comes along and we now have a Black Urn. So off we head up the tower again. As every one knows the only thing better then killing a dragon is killing a big flaming undead one. With a 12% first shot, were clearly underestimated Nightbane.

True to form our next shot was another flawless Guild first.

Nightbane Down.

So heading up the tower again, we said hello to some old friends again for our first complete Kara clear.

Good work to all those that have helped make this happen.

Stay Tuned for future Guild firsts as we stick our heads into ZA and finally with an alliance in the cards, maybe some 25man Stuff.

About Aussie Crew

Aussie Crew was first created as a chat channel in Everquest with a collection of like-minded players from many different raid guilds. The majority of them moved to WoW and were spread across different guilds and even servers. On February 26, 2006 the channel/people decided to take the next step and form Aussie Crew the Guild, on Doomhammer. We have since moved to Muradin and the Guild has evolved into what you see today, a tight-knit community of players. We are a casual raid guild that currently runs 10man raids 3 nights a week. Since the channel from oh so many years ago we have always gone by the motto "Doing more with less." We are an Aussie time zone guild on a US server, with members from all across the world.
